The story behind our bathroom furniture
A love of design and a frustration at not being able to find the furniture we wanted set us to work on the development of our own wooden bathroom furniture. Peter had just bought a new house for renovation and Bjørke was going to renovate the bathroom. We both searched for weeks – weeks! – for beautiful wooden furniture for the bathroom and became deeply frustrated that the only solution was insanely expensive carpentry solutions.
Our conviction was that it had to be possible to design and produce a piece of carpentry furniture in a cheaper price range. So we scribbled, drawn, talked to carpenters and started prototypes. Redrawn, adapted, fine-tuned and finally we reached the finish line with our carpenter-made bathroom furniture.
We love the natural material universe and the qualities of the materials are the foundation for this piece of furniture and our further development of the bathroom universe, which will offer much, much more. Many people also choose our carpenter-made bathroom furniture as a personal gift.
Product info – Wall-mounted bathroom furniture
The furniture is produced at a machine joinery in Denmark. It is a carpentry company with many years of experience and really skilled people, and this is clearly seen in the quality and details of the furniture.
The cabinet is made of oak veneer with a solid oak frame and with finger-tapped drawers also in solid oak. The solid frame makes the furniture sturdier and protects the veneer edge. The furniture comes with the market’s best rail system with soft close function on the drawers.
Remember that the furniture is wall-hung and must be mounted on a suitable solid wall.

Choice of materials
We have chosen to use veneer for the cabinet as we believe that it is the best solution for a piece of furniture that will be used in a bathroom. The veneer will not work/warp like solid wood does when exposed to moisture.
The furniture is designed to mount a worktop. There are many delicious solutions here and we will also come up with our suggestions for some solutions, but you are free to choose the one you prefer. However, we only give a warranty on the furniture if a worktop is installed and a sink is not placed directly on the wood.
Price and sizes
Price was one of the parameters that helped start this process for us, as we wanted to be able to offer carpenter-made furniture that most people can afford. We have kept this parameter in mind throughout the process – from idea to finished product. This means, among other things, that at that price you can only order the furniture in our standard sizes.
Maintenance
The bathroom furniture comes with a two-component oil – ready to use. Over the years, the furniture can of course be oiled again if necessary. There is a big difference in how people take care of their things and there is also a big difference in bathrooms – both in the room size, but also in the degree of humidity and ventilation. Therefore, a table top must be mounted on the furniture before our warranty is valid. Good advice: Air out after the bath. Remove excess water from the countertop. Do not leave wet cloths, towels or the like on the worktop. Clean the furniture with a hard-wrung cloth.
