We have finished the internal work in our turnkey contract 14 days ahead of schedule. We went through a review with the customer and their construction consultant, and received an incredible amount of praise. The customer’s construction consultant is used to doing handover business, especially on new builds, and she told us that with our handover we were out in the small things department, with regard to mistakes and shortcomings in our work – and as the building consultant said, “you always have to find some mistakes” . We were also praised for having fewer mistakes than when a handover is done on a newly built house. We have been working until 11pm every day for the past week to get all the details done and we are delighted with the outcome of this turnkey project. After all, you are always very excited about what the customer and adviser have to say, and when you end the review with a super satisfied customer and adviser, you will be happy – really happy!
Last round of this turnkey contract
A vapor barrier was put up and 2 layers of plaster were installed in the ceiling throughout the house. New floors with underfloor heating throughout. We had 2 beautiful bathrooms made and a new kitchen installed. A Genvex system (ventilation system for a better indoor climate) and a post-insulated ceiling were installed. The electrician has replaced all electricity and fitted new spots, ceiling outlets and switches. The house has been filled in a gray adhesive mortar and there are new Velfac windows in all rooms. We’ve been all the way around – even the basement got a new utility room and painted floors.
